We visited Finca Decero with Bus VitivinÃcola Hop On & Hop Off.
Approaching Finca Decero took our breath away. The views are amazing and the site itself is incredible. On arrival however we found grumpy staff who did not greet us (~15 people) we were lined up to pay for the tasting without introduction, were whipped through a tour (which felt tired) and then those of us who were not having lunch were left at the entrance without dismissal, a thank you or a goodbye. When a few people posed questions they were met with what felt like exasperation from a female staff. The wine was delicious. However we left feeling very disappointed by the experience.

Incredible and beautiful place with good food and good wines.
However, at the moment of our departure the chief waiter was looking at us and with the card machine in hand, already informing that it was time to leave. Soon we paid and we went to the store to buy the wines and as it was close to the closing of the vineyard the attendees of the store were very impatient and were disrespectful, wanting to speed up our choices. We understand it was close to closing, but we are customers and we were already buying things, we were not just looking.

This was the best winery tour we have ever been on! All I can say is Thank You for such a Wonderful experience. Excellent 5-course lunch paired with 5 delicious wines. Our guides were excellent and professional. Make sure you make a reservation for this fantastic experience. Excellent wine! Wish we could buy them in Norway! At the end there is a gift shop where one can buy wine so buy it! This was one of the best meals we had on our South American tour this year!

Probably the best and most creative meal we had in Argentina, and we have been to the best! The wine was delicious, but the 5-course meal was superb! We particularly enjoyed the 2015 Finca Decero Amano wine (and the wine servings were generous), and couldn’t possibly single out any particular dish because each was just splendid! The view is just stunning! Driving to Finca Decero is probably best done in an all-terrain vehicle or luxurious SUV, but it is worth the drive. Kudos to chef Andrés Fozzatti and the winery staff. A wedding here would be an unbelievable experience! Make sure to reserve in advance. We booked this restaurant with other wine tours through Kujuak could not have been more pleased!

This bodega and restaurant are in a beautiful setting with lush grounds and the majestic mountains in the background. We received a warm welcome and were treated like friends during our entire visit.
We started with lunch (if you go, be sure to make reservations). The food was excellent, especially the steak that was cooked perfectly. This was easily one of the best meals we had in all of Argentina. Three wines, one for each course, were poured in advance. They were all so good, however, it was difficult to wait for the next course before sampling the next wine! Luckily, staff was generous with refills and they even offered us a 4th wine, the special edition Petit Verdot. Delicious!
After a long, relaxed lunch, we were given a wonderful tour. It was harvest time, so there was a lot of activity. Much of the process at Decero is done by hand, which was amazing to watch. After visiting several bodegas you begin to get a little bored with the tours, but this winemaking process and the technology used are so different that they are worth seeing for yourself. It's a very well-run operation. Best of all, at the end of the tour we got to sample the Amano wine, which as the name suggests is entirely made by hand. As with all of the Decero wines, this was fantastic. We weren't able to bring any home with us, but we'll be looking for it in the US.
This bodega was easy to find. Just note that once you turn off Ruta 7, you travel down a dirt road for quite a while. It didn't look that far on the map, but we kept driving and got there eventually.

I went to Mendoza Argentina, Finca Decero is really beautiful. As my wife works with wines, she arrange special lunch there and everything was great. The food was extremly good and the wines of Bodegas Decero are incredible! If you go to Mendoza you must visit this place and enjoy one of the bests wines of Mendoza.
The balcony you have in the restaurant is excelente, comfortable and you can enjoy the view of the field having a glass of wine.
Have a good time!
PS: Try to go early so you can see all the steps for making the wine.

In a valley full of bodegas, Finca Decero offers a zen-like quality not found in any other winery. From the view and the architecture to the food, and, of course, the wine, this temple of respite, and the fine people who work there, deliver an experience that is not to be missed. Bow before the mountains and, at the altar of Decero, you will emerge reborn.

Came here on horseback from Cavas lodge. We were given a private tour and tasting of the various wines. This was by far my favorite vineyard in Lujan de Cuyo. The wines are delicious and I have been able to procure some cases here in the US. The beauty of the vineyard is spectacular. I’ll definitely be back
