Just visit this church and take in a service with Rev Canon Jonathan Still RN. He preaches without notes and speaks from the heart. Don’t miss the chance

In the centre of Cerne Abbas you will find this church which was open and welcoming. Wedding flowers adorned the interior. The adjoining littel garden is well maintained and very old cottages line the street.

Almost forgot all about this place. Imposing church and well maintained but the thing I remember most is the lovely garden. Full of very colourful flowers and very peaceful. Worth a visit and take a relaxing seat for a while.

The church is open for visitors most of the day, entering from the side door. Few decorations as with protestant churches, but still one Maria statue behind the pulpit. The line of very old timber houses outside opposite the tower are most interesting.

Minterne Church is also worth a visit even though it's tiny. It has some interesting tombs due to its proximity to the big house. And it contains the oldest known tombs of the Churchill family. Even now the Digbys and Churchills are closeknit. The sister...More
