Con i tre torrioni la principale porta d'ingresso al centro storico di san gemini è la monumentale porta romana fatta erigere da Scipione nel settecento , sta a proteggere il corso , via Roma .

Immersi nel medioevo, ogni attività quali negozi, ristoranti ecc sono perfettamente integrati e mimetizzati nell'ambiente. Panoramico, molto vicino all'uscita della superstrada, c'è poco parcheggio ma raramente è invasa da turisti e quindi puoi trovarlo facilmente. Ottimi ristoranti, birreria, b&b. Il tempo sembra fermarsi. Non adatto a chi cerca mondanità e forti emozioni ma piuttosto adatto per chi cerca pace, silenzio ma anche buon cibo e convivialità.

San Gemini , piccolo borgo medievale, che è parte di quell'Umbria meno nota che pochi visitatori vanno a scoprire. Possiamo ammirare Porta Romana del XVIII secolo che è l'attuale ingresso al centro storico, la piazza principale intitolata al Santo d'Assisi. Si affaccia sulla piazza la Chiesa eretta nel 1200 - stile gotico - . Degno di Nota il Palazzo Pretorio e l'annessa Torre Esperia.
