The Roman Catholic church and its Jesuit college dats from 1616. Its imposing white facade has two towers of different design. Fortunately the left door was open, affording views of a pastel yellow interior, a nice change after baby blues and light salmon colours in Kiev, Odessa and Lviv.

The facade of the cathedral is very nice and in good condition. We were really disappointed that the main Cathedral of Lutsk was closed and locked when we were visiting the city. It was Saturday the 28th of June - bank holiday in Ukraine. Lots of people are travelling on this weekend and the city had more tourists than usual. It is a shame to lock main sights of the city on such a day! Lutks should pay more attention to tourists if the city wants to develop as travelling destination.
