We visited in a cloudy day and it was wonderful visit and stay with the kids. The castle is well organised for a guided visit and the exhibitions are very nice. Bottom line :Recommended

We took our grandson to the Muiderslot and were not disappointed. There is a lot to do and see and plenty of amusing things and games for children. The only downside was the guided tour, as there were way too many people and we did...More

My visit to the castle was awesome! You go back 700 years in time of Dutch history! The guided tour is very informative. There's must to see and do for young and old. I have used the Elvira boat (veerdienst Amsterdam) to the castle, it...More

Great example of old days where castles were to protect and as business. Seeing the hundreds of years old furniture and paintings was amazing. The tour was great and gets you to rooms you otherwise won't see. A must see.

The queue can get pretty long. The castle opens only at 12 am. We were there at 11:45, and there were already 10-15 people waiting, and after us quite few more built-up fast before the castle opening. We had the museum card... More

I don't know about the tours, not joined them (and not sure if you really need one). Anyway, in the castle there are only few English information, most are in Dutch. Not a very difficult story, but get prepared to explain... More
