Along the highway 800m direction Guadalajara, follow the signs to Resturant Soky and enjoy an excelant meal for a very reasonable price while watching the birds on the lake.

Totally enjoyed our visit. The only negative was that we couldn't find a tour available from Guadalajara and had to rent a taxi for the day to get there. However it was worth the trip. BTW, they are not really pyramids!

They have a nice museum and an excellent tour. We had an English speaking tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and informative. To tour the grounds be prepared for a little strenuous walk, but worth the effort.

Round Pyramids are rare - and this is the main site, may be globally, to see those. Openned just 3 years ago. This is good to realize how much we don't know about pre hispanic cultures, how reach and diverse they were.

Round pyramids are rare to find. There are some other settings in Mexico that display such constructions, but this is the main one in that particular sense. Also the "canchas de pelota" are interesting. This is a place to get a broader view os pre...More

No idea but it is easy to find out by asking any taxi driver if they are interested in a day long hire. It would have to be a little more than they can earn in a normal days work.
