Worth a visit, nothing else like it in the world. Get there early in the morning when the the Red Lotus are still open. Some decent food stalls nearby for a morning breakfast snack.

A breathtaking scenery! A must visit for those who are planning to visit Udon. Highly recommended. You must go early to witness the beautiful sunrise, around 5:30-6:00 am.

It was breath taken at the sunrise from the water. We took boat at 6:40 and it was a perfect timing to reach to the flower sea. Remember to arrange your return trip or you will have to try your luck.

Not recommend. The best season is between Nov to Feb. In case you go in the future, recommend you stay nearby so you can reach to the jetty around 6:30 then it’s perfect timing to see the sunrise from the water.

No the lotus will be harvested by then, the lake is there naturally but if you want to see the lotus in bloom it’s only during late January to late February
