Located at the end of the road running through the town with all its shops, restaurants and covered eating areas. Quaint little castle with the main museum and Vintage Car museum. It has a permanent stage for live performances along with a lovely bar restaurant called Cierna Pani where you can sit and enjoy the inside of the castle grounds.

Guided tours in Slovakian. You can follow with a guide in different languages. Can not visit on a self guided walk through, so the tour takes a while. Parking is available nearby and walking distance to center of town.

First of all, you need to ensure that you book or arrive in time for a guided tour. The tour I had was in Slovakian, but I had an English booklet so it was not too bad. The castle is beautiful and has beautiful views. It was also interesting to learn about the many cultures that have influenced Kezmarok and the surrounding area.

During our staying in Slovakia on our way to Lubovnia stopped in the city of Kežmarok to meet friends from Poland. Spend in the town app. 3 hours to see tle old town, the castle and to have a lunch. The city is quite calm, some places to have a drink and walk around without huge expectations but worth to stop in if you are in that area at least for an hour or two. The castle is a little but "over renovated" ... we did not feel the history and the "spirit" is more as a nice protocolar building with some history. The great surprise was the "Kežmarska Resturacia" situated at the end of the main street of the city center close to the castle - the building on the corner. It was crowded and we were 4 adults and 5 kids ... but still we were served in less than 45 minutes, the food was excellent and the personnel very disposable and kind. A place is worth to be visited and have a lunch there.
