Nice atmosphere, long waiting
Nov 2019
It was a very nice (short) cruise in the pool, especially for kids. The waiting line is long on Saturdays, and the price is a bit high.
A one time visit is nice

not a must

as musch as the place could be interseting, the entry cost and what you actualy sees inside does not justify the visit

A gem
Jul 2019 • Couples
There are so many things to do and see in Israel, so if you are only visiting for a short time, The Pool of Arches may not be for you; the pictures make it look far larger and more interesting than it actually is - yet for a day trip, combined with going out for authentic, inexpensive Middle Eastern food in one of the many cafes in Ramle, it's fun!

a fun hour
May 2018
Our kids loved this spot. The underground pool is beautiful and unusual and we took a rowing boat which allowed us to enjoy the full beauty of this site. It is small and an hour is more than enough time but I wouldn't miss this site if you're in the area

Small Treasure

A "must visit" if passing near Ramla. Depending on the hour, you could row for 15 min or hours! (If no one around) Row around a mysterious and enchanting cistern filled with cllored lights and a feeling of stepping back in time! Quick and inexpensive and a sure experience!

Why pay entrance fee for this?
Nov 2018 • Couples
A dark pool below the city. If you do not ask, there are no explanations from the attendant. You need to row yourself, but the oars are in the air, so you can only use one, as you need both hands to hold it safely. A waste of time and money!

a fascinating place for people who like fun
Nov 2018 • Family
Don't mix business and pleasure. This place is pure pleasure. it captivates the imagination with a "Thousand and one night" atmosphere.
Built in the late 8th century as a water cistern it is still functioning as one. The lighting and little boats though add a lot of mystery and charm. You take the little boat and punt in the underground waterways. singing along and bumping into fellow bewildered travelers.. leaving a trail of silliness and joy. One can get lost in the medieval Arabic life style kept by people such as Sinbad, Ali Baba, and heroes of the past. Do not even dream of missing this.

Interesting- no more
Oct 2018 • Family
It’s interesting to go down and see the water pools. In the past they served to contain the city’s drinking water. Today- the rowing boats are not such an adventure. I’ve been to others, much bigger in Europe.
Mainly an historic value if you are interested in the story of this city.

Fascinating and unexpected
Jul 2018 • Couples
It's easy to miss the entrance and once you find it, it's hard to believe there's anything interesting there. But once you descend the stairway, you're confronted with a cinematic, almost surreal sight. Paddle a small boat through the still, murky water. It's not a particularly large site -- a 30-minute visit, maximum. We were there on a weekday in July, and there was virtually nobody else visiting. We understand that, on busy days, you're limited to 20 minutes in the boats.

There's not a lot more to do and see in Ramla, but the Arches Pool is reason enough to go there.
