Beautiful sunset

Best sunset ever! Just stay next to the main statue and wait for it! During the day there is nothing really worth it.

I'm not sure how I feel about Lovina Beach. On the one hand, I do love a sleepy little place and want to support local Indonesian businesses. On the other hand, I feel like hiding from all the proprietors in town and at the beach. Everyone is looking to make some money and, unfortunately, you are a walking ATM machine.... More

Went in December 2015 and was shoked at the pollution at the beach...seemed like no effort was made to clean up the beach at all.

After spending a week in Sanur this is a welcome change to the constant "beep beep, you want transport" A bit off the beaten track but worth the drive as it still have everything, nice beach, cheap bintang, diving, waterfalls and not to be missed a morning with the dolphins...magic!

Had a nice time strolling on the beach. It was fun to see the fishermen wade deep into the sea, made for a nice foreground for sunset shots !

We had an awesome experience with Captain Benni (018 7938068); who spoke good English with his small boat which the local called "jukung" as we did the Morning Sunrise tour in Lovina for the dolphins which started at 6.00am. We paid IDR 150,000 per person; which was for the dolphin spotting and snorkelling (mask & fins provided). We managed to... More

nice quiet beach. with lots of street food peddlers. good for sunbathing. there could be locals trying to sell u dolphin tours and small gifts. just say NO: "i don't bring my wallet", that should drive them away. if you're in for dolphin trip in lovina, in 2015 it was around 150-200rb per person.

Good place to stay for one or two nights, the beach is not top, neither the city. We have been there for two days and two nights and it was fine, now that we are in Amed, it is much better.
