About
In the heart of Penedes, you will find our bodega and its vineyards. The bodega owns its vineyard, split between two different parts (Cal Costas and Baltana) and situated in Font-Rubi (province of Barcelona). The vineyard represents 51 producing hectares and has the capacity to increase it up to 100 hectares. The plots are situated at 500 meters of altitude, insuring a day/night temperature contrast which is necessary to get a full development of the grapes and good aromas concentration. It will bring out well balanced aromas of fruits; ripen; with nice fragrances and acidity. You can appreciate in our wines the geographic nuances of each plot. The different soils and microclimates give to each wine its own personality. Our wines are part of the appellation Denominacion de Origen Penedes and respect its elaboration process restrictions that guaranty high-standard wines.

A great experience at a Catalan vineyard.
We arrived late but were immediately accommodated with a group. Though there were multiple groups touring, we weren’t rushed. The guide engaged with the group when he was being asked questions: ie he hosted.
The wines are lovely and worth getting your collection before leaving.
We chose to have lunch & the menu is typical Catalan but with choices for most diets. It was tasty & of course accompanied with a bottle of wine.
Well worth a drive out from the city!

This was a great place to take a tour of a winery and learn about one of the most important regions of Catalunya, Spain for wine production. We speak Spanish so the tour was not a problem, but if you are only an English speaker you will have to contact them to be sure you get on the right tour. They did a great explanation of wine tasting and a thorough even though simplistic explanation of the wine making process.

We had a really nice time. The visit consisted of a tour in the vineyard, a visit of the winery and a wine tasting. A good lunch is also available, and it is a great opportunity to taste the wines in their context. We were a group of 7 and all enjoyed the tour, particularly the part in the vineyard which is often skipped in many wineries. The wines were very good too!
What's more, it was the first wine tasting for some of our group, and our guide (Ingrid) took great care to explain how to taste the wine which they appreciated very much.
All in all, a great experience, highly recommended!

Due to a mix up with our tour agent, our party of four were given this winery tour. Not a easy place to find, as our driver got lost several times on the back winding country roads, once we arrived and greeted by Filo Nitsa who was a wonderful young woman very enthusiastic about wine and the Winery. She walked us thru several vineyards, letting us taste the various variety of grapes, showed us the wine making equipment, barrels, and bottling process, ending with a nice tasting of several wines with local cheeses and meats. It was one of our best tours. Filo also spoke good English!

It was a gift from our children. It has been a very pleasant experience, you acquire some knowledge thanks to Filo (very close, friendly, kind) the explanations of both the process of planting the vines, harvesting, pressing, fermentation in barrels/bottles and, above all, the tasting were very enjoyable. of different wines. This last mini introductory course put us to the test through olfactory, visual and gustatory phases, and also the pairings of the different wines (very important). We feel very good, we are going to return. 100% recommended.
