From big cats to turtles
Aug 2017 • Friends
A small but growing zoo that is continuously being developed. They were building a new area when we were there.

The animals include big cats: (lion, Siberian tiger, Canadian lynx), reptiles, savannah animals, wild and domestic Hungarian animals and many other.

You can buy food package for some of the animals (they have a stamp on their description plate if it is safe for them to eat), and you can feed them, which is fun for kids and adults alike.

They are dedicated to raising big cat cubs (last time it was lion cubs) and also to raising awareness. When they have cubs, there is a time window when you can pet the cubs, but they remove them when the cubs get tired.

Small but cute zoo
Jun 2016 • Couples
This small zoo is very near to the city. Staff is very kind, they do love animals. We spent one hour walking around. My favorites were the tigers. They were on the "beach". Please check the pictures as well. Parking is normal. Kids can play in the middle of the park.

What a surprise!

There are tigers, lyons but the garden itself is a little bit disordered. They have to make much more advertisment.

Pet Lions!
Oct 2015
The Zoo itself is not a big deal - though I really appreciate what they build from nothing - But if you are lucky you can touch, pet little lions. Usually they have baby lions two times per year so if you are there, try not to loose the chance to have this experience;)

Aim of our trip were the recently borne little lion kittens in this small zoo. The lion kittens' caressing is an amazing program for kids and also elderlies (every day btw 10-12 and 15-17 still in June 2015). You can't find a similar experience now in Hungary. Tickets are only for one round (the long of your visitation among the lions depends on the waiting people behind you). Otherwise just a small selection of wild and traditional Hungarian animals. Tickets for adults are €4.

Először voltunk itt és nagyon nagy csalódás volt. We were here for the first time and we had a very bad experience.

The staff was rude , the "paddocks" where the animals are small and dirty and most of them are stinky (not only like the smell in an avarage zoo). You can see on the animals that they don't like it there. Most of them have to live in small cages that don't look anything like their natural habitat with very few stimulus.
