Beautiful but sadly in need of a huge injection of money.

This grand castle is called “Belgium’s Versailles” and is the most stately of the 5 castles we visited. Just the walk towards the palatial building is impressive. The comparison is somewhat of an exaggeration, but the grandeur is real and the history royal. Like many other castles is began its life in medieval times and has over the last 800... More

I've been here three times, twice of which with international friends, because I really wanted to show them. Totally love it. The garden is impressive and great for just walking around. Very calm and relaxing.

It is a gorgeous place to visit. We had to go twice because although we had checked the website the morning we drove there, the chateau was closed as the Princess was getting married there that day. Three coaches of tourists also turned up, one had driven all the way from Bruges! They need to put exceptional closures like that... More

From a distance the Chateau and gardens are beautiful. However once you get up close, oh dear it has been neglected. The gardens are just green lawn, and someone needs to sort out the pathways, i.e. add a drain-away so you can walk on them. The ponds are totally clogged up, and the poor Koi fish were left to try... Not all that great. Gardens just green and muddy. No flowers to see. House was ok but on a sunny day the gardens might be a good place for a walk it the improve walkways.

This Chateau is certainly worth the visit. The grounds themselves are stunning and inside the building gives you a perspective of life in a different world. You can get close to incredible tapestries and enormous paintings. The restaurant is also good

I have mixed feelings about this castle. Seems horribly overpriced for what you get to see, but the castle is an amazing piece of architecture with fantastic works of art. Don't bother buying the "train" ride as the grounds slash gardens are not anything great. Walk out there in your own, snap some pictures, and call it good. Ok food... More

Visited the Chateau with my children during the flower festival. It is a beautiful Chateau and has lots of historical pictures and items to look at. The library is a must see... it's impressive! The land is very nicely kept and makes for beautiful photos or paintings. I believe the place can be used for engagement photos and such. If... More

It's a beautiful building inside and out! The garden and grounds are stunning and the little train is really sweet. It's not much to look around and there are some beautiful rooms in the castle. It would of been nice to know more about the history of the castle or maybe a time line. Had a great time and the... More

The castle is lovely to look at and so are the grounds. The little train is a horrible rip off as it is faster if you walk it then go around the borders with the slow moving tractor. The inside of the castle is just a handful of rooms so the all in price for euro 11 left a very... More
