A simply fabulous shop to visit and observe the lace collection they have. All are made local. Very impressive. If you plan on buying then you should devote some budget for it.

What a completely enchanting shopping experience. This little shop sells the most beautiful HAND MADE lace products. Everything from parasols to stunning wedding dresses. We were amazed by the amount of time and experience (and patience of course) needed to produce the smallest of items, but watching someone actually making lace in the traditional way is amazing. Staff were extremely... More

Don't waste time in those so many shops on the gorgeous Burano. if you want to admire and acquire the real Burano merletto, that is THE place. We have appreciated the warm welcome, and the patience of the staff to teach our kids how to embroider lace! Their private museum is superb, and their range of products is really large,... More

We chanced upon this shop during a business trip to Venice and were enchanted immediately. We learned about the history of lace making in their beautiful museum with stunning works of lace art and then watched expert lace makers intricately make new pieces. The staff were incredibly friendly and informative without pressurising us to buy. We even met the in-house... More

I was taken here by a friend Sonya on a visit to Venice and Burano otherwise I probably would have missed it altogether and I'm so glad she took me there. We were greeted with such a warm welcome from Davide and the staff and encouraged to watch the ladies working on the lace and even allowed to take pictures.... More

The lace is intricately handcrafted and unique. It is unfortunate that lace making by hand is probably a lost art. The items for sale are very expensive but that is because of the painstaking care given to each piece. We were fortunate to see the owner of the shop making lace. What a beautiful art. They have historical pieces on... More

This was our 2nd island we stopped at with our tour with Alilaguna. Wished they could extend the visiting time. Felt like a rushed job. Beautifull expensive lace. It is art work.

Veronica Gobbato is the extraordinary, graceful, knowledgable, kind and precious young Burano woman who met us, informed us of, and escorted us to, this gorgeous store, a treasure of the handiwork and history of Burano. Few venues exist in the Venice area or anywhere in Italy and our world which carry the real handiwork of the Burano women. Ms. Gobbato,... More
