This was truly wonderful in every way. We arrived early in the day to the beauty of the multi coloured painted houses what a delight; the flowers and plants that decorated the house windows added to the splendour of colour. Burano is original and all...More

Burano was just so quaint, with beautiful multi coloured houses, small bridges and of course boats. A good variety of small shops and places to get something to eat. Well worth a visit!

Burano is a bit further than Murano by boat. This is where lace is made and the place is loaded with lace shops. It is also a lovely place to take a stroll and admire the many small shops, drink the local wine and enjoy...More

In our 4-day trip to Venice, we decided to spent an evening at Burano island (and not Murano). It is a colorful place (each house has necessarily a different color) famous for lace (many touristic shops to buy). It is easily walked up and down,...More

What a lovely place to visit, even for me who has no great liking for a lace museum! House colours are bold and bright while the people are really friendly on the island. Only downside were some of the other tourist behaviours which I found...More

U will need to check with your hotel for all the local tours. It's best to do the morning tour as early as u can. It gets hot in the afternoon n the queue gets longer. Start your tour at 9 am sharp is u can.
