Such a cool bar. Walked here from Railey West to see what it was all about. Swings, hammocks, birds nest and beanbags to relax and watch the sunset. Beer reasonably priced. Ended up leaving half way through sunset to race back to west beach for a phenomenal sunset that did not reach this part of the beach

Tew lay Bar is a must visit while visiting Railay. The food was nice Thai food. The restaurant is over the waters & there's some photo ops, such as bird's nest to take a photo in. Highly recommend.

Tew Lay Bar definitely has the best cocktails on the islands, aswell as the best views. Great place to relax, fun and friendly staff and some quirky seating options. Definitely worth a visit!

Tew Lay Bar ? Forget it.
I met here with my friends who told me they waited ages for food despite being the only ones here so I thought I’d order something simple so I wouldn’t wait. 40 minutes later I still haven’t received my cornflakes. Christ on a bike. After asking for a refund 4 times I got my money back. But honestly I should’ve stayed in bed. Come here if you love long waits and awful food ! Peace and love.

Great bar with amazing views and delicious food.
Staff are friendly and service was great when we visited on a quiet lunchtime in the rainy season.
Papaya salad and shrimp salad, spring rolls also great and the egg fried rice also went down well.
We had a nice ice coffee on a previous visit and came back for the views and the lunch.
Maybe next time we will come for the late night vibe and see what that’s like!

We went there twice, once for an afternoon drink and once for a beer at night. First visit was great, we enjoyed our drinks and the view, took a lot of photos and relaxed at the pillows. Second visit was creepy. Went there after dinner, around 9.30pm and as soon as we sat down a person that looked like the owner (could be an employee though, can't be sure) came to bring us the menus and sat down next to us. I was looking at the menu when my husband pointed out that we was still sitting between us and had a Skype call with some of his friends, pointing his camera to me. At the begging I thought that it just happened and wasn't intentional but he went on doing that. We got really creeped out! Shame cause it is a nice spot.

Big teak deck with cushions and low tables. Then hammocks and small decks on trees overhanging the water.
Food takes a long time to come, as it is not cooked on site, but who cares.... lie back and relax

I had the best time here "Railay cooking class " at Tew Lay Bar! Authentic recipe with healthy ingredient! Best thai food ever ! Chef Pradit Pankaew is really awesome. ( you can find him on FB) 1200 bah cooking class dinner was way better than any hotel food here. 1 person portion food at class is big enough for 2 persons. Just WOW yummy! Mango sticky rice, green chicken curry ,pad thai , 5 course food.
Bar:
This is most relaxing, healing , chill out & pieceful bar at Railay. The best Thai ice tea, best Mango smoothie & only lounge music bar in Railay. It is end of east beach on the rock cliff. Just walk 2 min from Last bar. You should try this spot after rock climbing ling day to chill out.

Definitely make the effort to go here for the great views, quirky seating options and good but cheap food.

We came here knowing there were many cool photo ops. Came during high tide which is important for the pics! Also a neat, chill vibe to have a drink! Can watch the sunset here also.

Hi, the cooking class is next door
to Tew Lay. I would suggest that you just stroll there to book your spot if it is for today or tomorrow (if they don't answer the phone). I booked mine there and it was superb.
