This is a great hike that only takes about 30 minutes to an hour round trip. The terrain is a little challenging as you are basically rock climbing, but not too difficult for anyone who has hiked before. Probably more challenging for children. Worth going...More

Great little hike up with rewarding views. Best done bare foot if wearing flip flops. Also avoid wearing white or clothes you don't want stained as the mud may not come off easily.

First of all - it is not as difficult as some people make it sound. I loved climbing the rocky cliff, tree roots and ropes. The view from the viewpoint is spectacular and the lagoon looks brilliant. (Hint: go before the noon when there is...More

Though this was super difficult to find (not many signs, kind of hidden, people kept telling me incorrect information), it was worth the muddy, steep climb. There's an underwhelming viewpoint that I would recommend bypassing. Just go straight to the lagoon and swim around! It's...More

We went there in the morning after some rain in the evening before. It was tricky but not too hard to go up the trail, but going down was really hard for me, not fiscally but mentally, because it is very dangerous, if you make...More

A dirty challenging climb up, but so worth the climb. Anyone can make it up if you have the willpower. I did it barefoot. Flops don't seem to be the best choice. Barefoot, shoes, or performance sandals are the way to go. Also, ropes are...More

Although many comments state not to climb after the rain, there were a good hand full of people still going up. I climbed the viewpoint solo due to my partner pulling out. I enjoyed the climb as there are many areas to grab and secure...More

This hike was very difficult! It is pretty much rock climbing with ropes but it pays off with the amazing view. It is a quick trip to the top (maybe 20 min) but is intense climbing. I would recommend doing it as early in the...More

The climb up to the viewpoint was not to difficult and quite fun, but sadly there quite a lot of people when we got up there. We combined it with the princess lagoon. The humidity is quite immense during the hike, so prepare to sweat...More

Agree with above, boat trips can be crowded and rushed. The best place for me was Railay beach. I wish i could move there. Avoid elephant ride, the animals are abused and not looked after. View Point at Railey is worth... More
