This is one of the two statues we visited during our Group Tour. Our Tour Guide had a long explanation about it in Russian and a very short one in English. We took some pictures here and went to the small park located below.

This statue which defines Georgians as great drinkers of wine has pride of place directly outside the local museum as makes a decent photographic opportunity.

Tamada was the indispensable leader of Georgian tables. We saw the first one in Tbilisi. It's like a little bit bigger. In one hand he holds the horn from which wine is drunk. If you go to the sanctuary museum it's right there.

While walking around the town of Signagi, during a day visit to Kakheti wine region of Georgia, we came across the sculpture of a toaster. A toaster is an integral part of Georgian drinking culture

Tamada is the Georgian word for him. He’s a leader in drinking party. He looks gentle and funny. I thought Tamada is big and rough guy but he’s not.
