Picnic this is by far one of my favourite beaches in PEI. Campsite 21 is the first time I Camped at red point. The wind was up a little bit and you could hear the waves. The moon was also out that night so we...More

Campsites are disorganized and a free for all. We had to share a sewer connection. Most of the sites are permanent setups as a weekend getaway for locals. That’s great but don’t come expecting a quiet site by the water. Kids run everywhere with little...More

Wonderful spot with a fabulous beach. Problem is that even if you get a site that is supposed to afford an ocean view, someone may put an RV sideways in front of you that blocks most of the view. The sewer connections on several sites...More

In all my travels I have never heard or seen singing sand. It squeaks when you walk on it. The erosion of the rocks was unreal. Love the colour.

Clean and cheap. They enforce the "quiet time" rule. Lots of play area for kids. Access to the beach.

This is one of the nicest beaches we visited on our PEI trip. Not crowded, beautiful sand, lifeguards on duty for supervised swimming. The park has a lovely campground, nice washroom facilities, organized activities for children and families. Only 10 minutes from Souris, for all...More

The lighthouse is undergoing what looks like a much needed repair. Nice park with a small beach and picnic area. It was empty when we visited in May.

As I remember from last summer, 2014, there is a stairway down to the beach. You could drive closer to the beach if your campsite is further away as there is a parking area nearby. If you look up Red Point Provincial Park... More
