This is one of the larger lighthouses you can enter in PEI, and the fee is slightly higher than elsewhere too ($6+tx vs. a common $5 at most other places). There are decent views (though it gets hot at the top during the day!) and...More

One can tour the lighthouse for a fee or enjoy the grounds/shop for free. The drive to the lighthouse is pastoral beauty. Enjoy a picnic lunch or have lunch at the cafe.

Out of the way, nice view. Gift shop is standard pei, lighthouse was 6$ didn't feel the need. Really cute Anne of GreenGables doll, but are likely everywhere.

Nice side trip if your on this end of PEI. A small fee and you can walk to the top of the lighthouse for a 360 view . A small cafe and gift shop for purchase of food and drink.

Such a great drive to a lovely spot on the Island. The views were amazing! The cafe has fantastic chowder and lobster sliders with super friendly staff.

But don’t worry. From the other side, it reads “Start of the world is here” This is one of the larger lighthouses on the island. Well worth the drive for the views.

Well worth the trip. Great views from the point. You can see where the foghorn building used to sit, they had to move it back due to erosion.

It cost a few dollars to climb up the lighthouse, but the experience of crawling the spiraling stairs and ladder, ending with a panoramic view was absolutely worth it. The history along the way was interesting as well. If you were hoping to be able...More

I loved visiting my first lighthouse in PEI. It is a very well kept sight. We went to the top of the lighthouse and the view is spectacular. A must visit.
