Had been to this elegant shopping mall in Al-Rayyan a long back ago. It is located in the Rawdat Al Jahhaniya district.

This mall is the biggest shopping center in Qatar. It has 3 floors of shopping and entertainment space and also 520 stores.
This mall is home to the world's first alcohol-free Curio Collection by Hilton and an IMAX Laser 3D projection system. It also has a live entertainment as well as a gaming arena for children. This mall is supported by tree like structures and has art installations as well. It has an ample parking space. This mall offers a wide range of cuisines at the food court. It was awarded the RLI International Retail & Leisure Destination Global Award. Had enjoyed roaming in the mall and dined at the food court.

This mall is an ideal place for families, tourists as well as shopoholics when in Al-Rayyan.

I think the best mall in Qatar. Spacious, big choice of restaurants all located around each other making it difficult to chose. Plenty of medium to high range shopping. Kidmondo is available which is like Kidzania.
Has an attached hotel as well.
Right next to the Torch Qatar.

The mall is a long way out around 30mins from the city and on spending a couple of less than interesting hours at the mall didn't see anything much to write home about.
It's a nice enough mall but not up to Dubai's standards. Probably wouldn't bother unless you have something particular you need from there.

today at about 6 p.m I went to MOQ. At entrance 2 next to Sephora, Ehteraz service wouldn't work for me, it kept on crashing, a nice agent help me by calling Ehteraz service and they said that they would fix it. So, I went to the side and waited for it to be fixed. As I was waiting, a very rude security officer came to me at around 7.15 p.m, he was tall, aged between 55 and 60, he had fair eyes, a beard, and was wearing a white Qamis with a red vest above it (probably a security guard vest), he also had a red Khaliji Veil on his head. He asked me what I was doing there, I said that I was waiting for Ehteraz to be fixed. So he told me that I shouldn't wait there saying very rudely: "you either go outside or inside but don't stay here!". I said very politely that I was just waiting for them to fix my Ehteraz problem. He told me "get
out". Mall of Qatar, you should choose your personnel based on their politeness because they are the ones who show the image of the mall. This is an unacceptable
behaviour and this man shouldn't be working in a well-respected mall

Terrible experience at Crocs Store, MOQ.

Went to Crocs store on 23October night at Mall of Qatar . My Kid has chosen a shoe and one of the staff removed the tag to proceed for payment but five minutes later we have decided to choose another one . The staff Ms Preeti got angry , so I asked her if there was any issue as I have not paid for the same and it's my decision to change it. She was out of her mind and started talking unnecessarily that i am uneducated , i don't know how to behave , raised her voice and told me not to buy from the store. I have no idea why she reacted that way and misbehaved with the customer .

If you are visiting Qatar you may ride the new Metro to Brad to mall of Qatar “ one of the largest malls in Qatar”.

You can enjoy shopping from the well known brands, walking, eating or watching a movie at any of the cinemas there.

Also for families having kids there is a kids area so they can spend nice time there.

Plenty of restaurants and coffees are there to choose from.

You may spend Half day there.

Mall of Qatar is the largest of all in the state. Its way is going to Dukhan Road. Easiest is the route from Sidra Medical Center then straight! No turning left or right. Just straight till you reach the road signage to MOQ.

500 shops and more than 100 restaurants are present. It is bit far from the city but worth it. The climax is their main activity center where oasis, Jungle concept, is evident. Dine in overlooking better scene plus the fountain.

It needs some time to go there by taxi from the city. A train connection will be available in the future. A place to spend plenty of time - both for adults and kids. Huge shopping area with displays, fountains, exhibitions etc. Prices resemble those of other malls in Doha. Internal transportation is provided.

Doha -Qatar
My cruise ship Queen Mary 2 made a historical maiden voyage to the Hamad Port of Qatar
After a visit to Dubai- Doha is its exact miniature – like Dubai – Doha is a city that sprouts out of the desert along the coastal waters and into a concrete and steel American collection of skyscrapers – there are the high end stores and the Rolls Royce dealership in an emasculate storefront – there are some buildings that did try to incorporate Arab architecture using the sand color and the rounded windows–inthe lagoon are rows of Dhows – the boats made in this part of the world that are built without nails and have sailed to China and East Africa for trading in centuries past - there is a main Souq (market) the biggest one in Doha- that offers spices- cashmere cloth-Turkish carpets among other goods-there is a tailor- when entering an enclosed stall I noticed locals taking their shoes off- most of the merchants are from India and other Asian countries-and there was even a woman from Kenya who was selling brightly weaved baskets-there are men who continually sweep the Souq passageways to keep them clean-next to the Souq there is an enclosure with camels who seemed to be rather lethargic – I was informed that Qatar’s population is 98% foreign nationals and only 2% native – it is ruled by a king and he rules the country like a kingdom- you see numerous buildings with his face adorned on it – in one of the cultural centers they have an oversized portrait of the king’s son – the foreign workforce who are bus drivers or security earn about $ 700 a month and live in special quarters (without their family members ) that the companies have set up for their employees- they live in dorms 4 to a room–and get a vacation to go home to visit their family every 2 years–while the Doha sea front offers apartments for over $3000 or more a month- this is the reality of this city in the U.A.E set upon the desert sands at which travailed the nomadic Bedouins whose ruling families have earned their money from oil exports
