Pondok Anggrek Putih offers half day cooking classes every TUESDAY and FRIDAY. Classes consist of a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 7 people. Experience the different flavour of "Indonesian cuisine" and learn about the local products. From spicy local "Lombok food" with hot chilies and herbs to the sweetness of Javanese food made with fresh coconut milk, palm sugar and peanuts. The courses are conducted in a personal relaxed atmosphere in English or German by the Indonesian owner. Our cooking classes commence daily at 10:00 am and are a fun educational and enjoyable way to learn about the Indonesian food and culture for the whole family. Bookings are essential. Hotel pick-up is included in the area of Senggigi including Mangsit.

We've booked cooking class for our easy day in Lombok. Half day activity learning new techniques and same time lots of laugh and fun. Surrounding is amazing, next to river, cooking class take place in the middle of garden and open area, food delivered was so beautiful and delicious. We will come back for sure next time.

Chief cook from restaurant brings some recipes for participants and you make local food with your hands, trying spices and mixing vegetables. Good activity if you want to take rest, have tasty dinner and learn something new at the same time.

We have travelled all over the world and tried lots of cooking classes and I am happy to report this was a fun morning. No market visit as is included with some but to be fair when you've done it once they don't hold much interest. Arrived at nice clean, open-air venue. It was quite warm though especially after we... The class was fun with a lot of laughters in a beautiful garden. Real food, real taste and simply finger lickin' good. Thanks to the wonderful team, I can now cook like a big... More
