Hallo, my name is Monica. I have been living on this stunning island for four and a half years and I have fallen in love with the nature, culture, and the smile and simplicity of the people in Lombok. My previous part of life was spent in one of the biggest cities in Indonesia, packed with the hustle bustle of life. I flew to Lombok five years ago and found out a very different pace of life; nature at its best condition providing enough clean oxygen for my brain to work at peace and greeneries to soothe my feelings every single moment; simplicity of the local life enriched my perception about life itself. Most of the tour is operated by myself. What I offer you is a very professional and personal service, broad knowledge of Lombok and Indonesia in general and fluency in English. Life itself is an endless adventure, so on the holiday as the escape from routines, we should make it more than just an escape, because the real escape is Escapade.

It is a really impressive experience since We arrived at the airport, the guide (Ozan) is very welcome and helpful when pick us to the hotel and they have same services quality on the next following days till our last days.
Lombokescapade really knows which spots and cuisine we should try in Lombok, from the beach to the mountain, from seafood to local food, all are really nice experiences for our honeymoon.
Absolutely will come back to Lombokescapade everytime we go to Lombok for holidays.

I think my picture says all! If you could only see my face you will realize how happy i was fulfilling my dream with the help of this amazing team. I have to express my feelings of gratitude to Monica and Ozan for being part of my journey to Gili Pasir . They are extremely friendly and what i admire the most is their desire to go beyond your expectations just to make sure your dreams are becoming reality. Monica helped me with a lot of tips on how to get from Ubud to Gili Trawangan step by step and showed a lot of patience and attention to details and the same i can say for Ozan who stood next to me through the stormy weather till the sun came up so i can have my best photo shot on gili pasir. What i like the most is that you dont feel you are with a tour company but you feel like you are with a friend all the time, ready to help with everything you need. Not forget to mention the guys that took me with the boat from lombok to gili pasir. All they are amazing! Thank you very much, you rock my world and for my happiness of that trip you are the main reason i will never forget!!!

I usually travel with friend without using tour agent service. But last year when i went to Lombok i gave it a try. Monica was referred by a friend in Malaysia. Now that i am meeting my friend in Malaysia i recalled my promise to write my experience in Lombok. From the airport pick.up to the tour and the drop off to airport again, everything was very easy,safe, enjoyable, and fun. We had very good conversation with Monica and Adi on the car along the way to snorkel in pink beach. One and a half hour passed we were greated by the boatman. Adi was a good snorkling buddy. Monica was a good lobster picker(she made a really good deal with the lobster farm owner). Ibu Adi cooked the lobster and pelecing perfectly. Monica and Adi made us pose in gili petelu and me and friends were so amazed by the result. They were really into photography my guessed. Monica drove on the way back and no matter ot was late she stopped us where we went for.dinner. it was very easy to decide, Monica and Adi are also "foodies" like us. To my surprise, after the tour they still put the effort to made us a beautiful.video capturing all memories in Lombok. I will surely recommend more of my friends to use their service in Lombok. Lombok is beautiful and it is even more beautiful because they have beautiful people like Pak Adi, Bu Adi, Adi and Monica. We will come.back to Lombok.

Once i made a booking for the waterfall and snorkel tour for my fam. Once i got so happy spending the day walking through the small lanes to the waterfalls, getting wet with Ozan at the fall, pose for some funny pictures directed by Ozan and laughing to the jokes in the car. Once i got to enjoy the beauty of pink beach underwater. Once Monica told me pink beach is for scenery and corals exploration. Once we got the chance to see a reef shark early in the morning. Once we made the epic jumping picts in gili Pasir. Once we got to enjoy the local lunch on the beach. Once when i recall all these memories I would definitely say: so much worthed to book the tours with Lombok Escapade. This tour agent is a rising star.

4 of us booked 2 days trip with Monica and Adi. They were amazing and made our tours a really unforgettable experience! They took care of us as we were friends, made us feel very welcome and we felt we can ask them anything.
On the first day we had a wonderful snorkeling. We went to Gili islands. Adi and Monika were with us all the time and they were showing us many different fishes that we would normally not see if we were on our own. Adi was actually diving deep to point us some fishes and encourages them to swim our way so we can take a better look. We have seen turtles as well which was the main attraction for us :) the coral area was outstanding, the best we ever seen. We were disappointed a little bit that we haven't seen seahorses, but guess what.. Adi then went again to the water to check other area and once he found them we were snorkeling again and we could see seahorses. This is how much he and Monica cared about us... Really appreciate it! Apart from that Monica and Adi were taking pictures of us on the boat and under water in different poses and sceneries. They provided also a great snacks on the boat!
On the second day we did a mixed tour.... Adi took us to the traditional market, some villages and beautiful beach and hills. This was a great experience. On the way back Adi bought us some local, very tasty snacks.
If I'm back to Lombok next time I will definitely book Adi and Monica again! These are not just your guides but very nice, funny people who will make your time on Lombok very memorable and enjoyable. Thank you Monica and Adi! Greetings from Poland!

My husband has chosen 3 excursions with Monica and Adi. Adi was our guide for all 3 trips. All trips were not only devoted to the chosen topics and places, but were much wider. We tasted durian, communicated with local people, had much fun in the waterfalls. The most exciting excursion for me is unspoiled Gilis when you can see coralls and sea horse.
I'd like to say many thanks to the team of Monica and Adi. They organize your trip from the beginning till the end. Very comfortable car, nice staff on speed boats to the islands. Adi showed us not only planned exursions, but even more: how the local people live, what food they eat. We tasted many local dishes and it was a very interesting experience.
I strictly recommend to choose some tour with Escapade. The next time we are on Lombok, we'll choose something new with Monica and Adi. Hope, we'll go to the Rinjani voulcano together.

We looked for a full-day tour to discover Lombok and found Lombok Escapade. We texted in the morning and asked if a spontaneously planned tour was still possible. After quick replies from Monica, she picked us up from the hotel in Senggigi and discussed the program. On short notice we got a nice program, similar to the mixed tour. The price includes transport, all entrance fees, and tips, so you don't need to worry about anything. But MOST importantly a great guide and now friend, Monica! So, this is a first of many thanks for that day!
First, we visited a traditional markets. The fruit part of the market was very colorful and one of the nicer markets in my opinion. Instead of just looking, we were put to 'work' and try to 'shave' a coconut, which was funny to try, because it's harder than it looks. Later we shortly looked at the fish and meat market, which were just on the other side.
Secondly, we visited a Hindu temple. Together with Monica and a local guide we went in and they explained that all major religions are able to pray in this temple. One tip, try to pratice backward coin tossing before you visit, so you'll be able to throw it ín the pond and make your wish come true ;) .
Afterwards, we drove to a pottery village. There we met mama Julia and, again, were put to 'work' to make some pottery. Fun to do as well! I made a mosquito repellant and took it home as a souvenir. In the same village, the woman also roasted coffee beans and they offered us cups of coffee to taste. You should as it's a fresh and delicious cup of coffee! They even invited us for their party the next week, but unfortunately we couldn't make it. Lovely people and definitely worth to stop here!
Then we went to the surfer beach (optionally to take a swim) in the south of Lombok, which took some time. This was not a problem at all as Monica is great company to have! She is funny and as she loves Lombok, she can tell you everything about it. So we made jokes, had fun chats, and interesting discussions throughout the day.
After the beach we visited a weavery cooperation. Where you could try out the traditional tools for weaving. Moreover, we got a dressed up as the king and queen and did a short 'photo shoot', which was also funny to do. The cooperation has a big shop and sell a lot of souvenirs, where you can pratice your bargaining skills. But better ask the boss.
Then on our way back to Senggigi one of the stronger earthquakes hit Lombok! This was the biggest earthquake we have ever experience, this was frightening and we were happy to be with Monica. She stayed calm, tried to obtain as much information and contacted Adi, the other guide. This was the start of two crazy days. In the aftermath of the first shock, multiple aftershocks hit, and we retrieved our luggage from the already evacuated hotel. As it wasn't safe for us to stay there, Monica took us with her to Adi, where we spent the first night outside. The two of them took so much care of us, thank you so much again! You guys are the best!
Because of this tour and all events after, we got to know two amazing persons with a great love for Lombok. They are not only great guides, but also friends. We stayed in touch after we left Lombok, and I hope we will continue to do so. Many thanks again for everything.

It is true that my friends and I booked Lombok Escapade and have been communicating with Monica. However, the night before our booking they changed the pick up timing and so because we are so excited we didn't really mind waking up earlier. Our hotel booking is not under my friend, Daniel but that doesn't mean his review were wrong. This event truly happened and it destroyed our schedule. Just apologize and let's all move on but we will never ever book with you again. You have claimed that whoever picked us up were impostor which is not cool. You don't have to say anything about us being Americans or what. Just be more professional and comply to whatever has been discussed.

This has been the fourth times we receive review with the same tone. One of review has been removed but i might expect to see it again soon. All three has been removed and then written again, it happened all over for a couple of times. Only if you can show proof that I with my personal number by whatsapp changing the pick up time a night before as whatever you have claimed, that i can tell whatever you wrote to be truthfull. Our pick up time for snorkeling is always straight 8a.m. It has been unbelievable too that somebody can be so persistent to write on our page. All our tours done only by myself and Adi and we have put our pictures on our website. I do not wish to partake in an unethical way of competiting.

This month is the time that i have been waiting to be able to escape from my busy life. And lombok is a good choice. Far from crowded. No traffic. So quiet. And i can feel the relaxing atmosphere from the locals life. To add the good comment of lombok i choose.to go with escapade. Addingba little adventure to the sindang gile waterfall. It is cold but our guide choose not normal entrance. I asks for excercise...i choose the entrance with the stairs..more than 300 guide is right. Tunnel is super fun. Some other tourists behind is scared but i find it super fun. Day two snorkelling is absolute adventure journey. Eye opening to me to a new world. Koral is super. Kamuflage is astounding things to see. Our guide explained a lot about marine life and whatbto do and not thentine snorkelling. Super good day with good people and ambiance. It is good to go with them. Thank You escapade. It was really a beautiful escapade. Recommend!

Lombok is a beautiful place to visit and Lombok Escapade will look always look for the best for the costumer. They will made the best to do an unforgettable experience and adapt all to your needs. Monica helped us in all that she could and we thank her for that! For this reason, I really recommend Lombok Escapade services if you need a ride/trip in Lombok ☺️
