A castle from the XII century built by the Almohade rulers to avoi the Christian spread further south. Incredibly well preserved, it commands a large view on the plain that is covered with olive orchards.

Amazing looking castle, you have to pay €3 at the tourists office they then show you round. But tourists office is not open often out of season! The staff only speak Spanish. All info signs in the castle are in Spanish & English French is...More

we really enjoyed our visit to this historical castle. There was a lot of walking but worth it. we joined a guided tour which was very informative. The whole area and views are beautiful. I would easily visit this area again.
