Nice pub which I visit often for lunch especially as it is dog friendly. However, it has no policy on vaping which means anti-social patrons can pollute the atmosphere of those around them - should not be allowed in this day and age

The Pheasant inn is the taphouse for the Wrekin brewery in Market Street (very close to the lovely Wellington Market) - it is a comfortable and friendly pub serving light lunches and tea/coffee as well as 7 local real ales.

Enjoyed a lunchtime drink in here. A few ales on tap and more bottled choice in the fridges. Very nice inside and looks like a decent menu. Noticed they had bbq nights in the summer.

Proper pub - friendly, down to earth, and the beer is well-kept and tasty, as near to the perfect pint as you can get. Helpful bar staff, but no food unless you have a weakness for pickled eggs.
