This is nice for a walk if you pick your route carefully... The paths that are further or more strenuous are deserted, so ideal for social distancing! The forest parts are lovely, especially with the autumn leaves. There's a bit of history there with a ruined castle and the remains of a colliery. Very interesting! Lots of birds and squirrels too. There is loads of parking and a little visitor centre with toilets. Pretty good 👏

A good park is always a great find and this delivered on numerous factors. Plenty of parking, good play area suitable for a vast age range, good walks both on paths (including a fairy trail in the forest)and tarmac and lots of fresh air. Water sports were also on offer!!! Good clean toilets at the visitors centre with cheap hot drinks completed the perfect package.

Lovely loch. Great day out. Only spoiled by two youths from Lochgelly throwing stones at the car near at The Avenue. Almost smashed my window. Not content with doing it once while I was pulled over inspecting the damage they threw stones at another car who gave chase. Best avoid Lochgelly unless you are in an armoured vehicle.

Great place now that it is being opened up to Motorhomes to allow overnight stays with electric hook ups and waste disposal. Plenty to do in the area and a good jumping off point to travel further afield.
