You can see several similar so called springs but this is the biggest. It is nice to stop and take some photos. Quite impressive and just at the main road.

Superfanstastic place, the Iron Mountain ! Yellowish in color and was with simmering water (wet) but not slippery at all.
Amazing and highly recommended to visit and experience how the watery place was not slippery ....

Right on the side of the road the water is flowing over the rocks. My husband tried the waters but I did not. Good stop and it's free.

Water and stone... Slippery right? The kind of slipper that will get you killed if you hit your head while slipping. Well not this place. It's water and stone but also the best grip you have ever felt. This place doesnt oblige to ordinary rules when it comes to slip. It's the most intersting place in Georgia. If water and stone isn't slippery anymore then just about anything can happen. Makes you think.

In our way to Kazbegi we stop here to see the water the runs through the rocks creating different shapes. Be careful crossing the road as it is very busy. Close by there tunnel used during winter that were built by Germans prisoners of war.

Fabulous mineral water (drinkable) falling from the top of the mountain.
The flow rate of the water is fast on top and decreasing to calm flow.

Beside these yellow natural art made by water, you will see the greenlands and flowers.

On our way back from Kazbegi to Tbilisi we come across this natural mineral water spring along the road side where passing-by tourists were stopping to taste the water and to click some great pictures. The rock on which the spring flows has a peculiar orange color that looks stunning in the pictures. We drank a sip of this cold mineral water and it has a weird taste as if you are drinking water from a rusted metallic tumbler.

These springs are located alongside the Georgian Military Road.
The chemicals in the water leave a "rusty" coloured residue. It is the Georgian version of Turkey's Pamukkale (but much smaller).
