Actually its a nice place - quite well done .... BUT bad maintenance / run down and there are almost no activities (except on a very few weekends) and perhaps a visit to the Maritime Museum KD RAHMAN. (not much to see either) The shops are horrible, all are selling the same stuff - the roofed market area provided opposite... More

We went during a long stretch of holidays recently. The place is well maintain but definitely needs more tourist traffic. Slight off the Lumut main bazaar, it offer nice view of the bay. Plus side, do visit KD Rahman Maritime Museum. It's worth a visit for warship buffs.

Lumut has been trying to lure people to stay a little longer in the village with building a nice waterfront. It sure IS nice but ... you won't come here for the waterfront. You come to Lumut for the boat to Pangkor. So if you have an hour or 2 to spend in Lumut, get an ABC or a meal... More

There are a few passenger ferries to Pangkor Island. The main launch is from the Lumut waterfront’s Jeti Lumut (ferry jetty). Women inside two ticket booths of competing ferries waved to us but we had no idea which one to take since they cost the same (I think about US$ 1). By luck we took the Mesra Feri. It has... More

Parking is available at hourly rates. Maintained well and clean. Just strong smell of dry fish from surrounding shops.

Nice relaxing stroll along the waterfront all the way about 1km from the jetty. Good breeze, places to stop for a bowl of cooling ais kacang, and if the battleship museum is open, you have a chance to board a real navy ship (entrance fee is charged)

This place is very crowded during public holidays but you can find lots of things happening around here. A nice place for family and friends.

The Lumut Waterfront epitomizes Perakians warm hospitality as most of the vendors and workers are residents of Lumut, Perak. About the waterfront, the updated, modern facility is pleasing to the eye and more citizen-friendly. The buildings are close enough for short crossings across the pebbled street, that is, getting from the waterfront building (the jetty) to the shopping bazaar is... More

A lovely waterfront to stroll and relax while watching the majestic scenery of the sea. It has a jetty to board a ferry to Pangkor Island. There are many shops selling seafood like satay fish and ikan bilis of Pangkor too. The kids can chill out at the playing grounds equpped with swings, slides etc.
