About
We are a Flight Simulator Experience venue with an AVRO Vulcan B2 bomber simulator with themed briefing room where up to 6 guests can watch your flight via video feed and a Boeing 737-800 simulator with replica cabin to seat 12 guests. Our aircrafts are a Boeing 737-800 NG and an AVRO Vulcan B2 which are both fixed base state of the art simulators with very humble beginnings. Your flight and the experience you have with us is the most important thing and we tailor your time to suit what you want to do, whether thats flying from A-B, Touch and Go Manoeuvres or hand flying into some of the trickier locations we have to offer. We also have a large departure lounge and meeting rooms and can cater for groups both private and corporate.

We purchased an hour in the 737 sim field our 11 year old son for his birthday. Booking was easy and full details and directions were provided. The centre was fantastic, so friendly and professional. The sim itself was just incredible, for passengers and pilot. Daniel, the instructor, was phenomenal and we enjoyed a flight to Heathrow and a selection of landings. My son had a fair amount of experience on computer apps and programmes and Daniel gave us great tips for sim set-up on a home pc and was also great with our son - really encouraging and complimentary. We will definitely book again and want to thank everyone in the Bacup centre for a brilliant flight experience!

Enjoyed my first visit to a flight simulator. I had a 60 minute session, this included a real time 30 minute flight from Manchester to the Isle of Man, a repeat landing at the Isle of Man and three landings at Gibraltar, one of which I landed in the sea but no harm done.

Glad I've done it but I don't think I will be booking another visit.

This is an experience not to be missed, even if you only have a passing interest in aviation you will come away with a much deeper appreciation of the complexities of flight. My experience was a 65th birthday present from my 2 sons Tom and Andy and I can't thank them enough for a brilliant, challenging and entertaining day.The whole session was carried out in a professional and informative manner which you would expect from 2 experienced pilots with the briefing being very interesting and amusing with some great anecdotes. In the simulator we carried out some different scenarios starting with easy landings gradually getting more complex which were completed with a few divots in the runway but nobody died.My chosen flight plan was to fly into Nice as we holiday in France and I thought it would be nice for my wife to see Nice from a different perspective but my sons with a little encouragement from Jason decided it would be far more entertaining to attempt a landing at Innsbruck(bad choice). We commenced our descent and with a couple of miles to the runway everything went pearshaped(I blame the cross winds)but I had obviously run out of talent and I was now piloting a Boeing 737-800 tunnel boring machine.Following a mass funeral Kyle took control and showed me how it should be done and just to add insult to injury my son had a bash and executed a nigh on text book landing.I would like to thank Steve,Jason and Kyle for a really great day and great laughs and can't wait for the F16 sim to be up and running.CHEERS.

Was due to Fly the Vulcan Simulator as a Birthday present on Saturday 24/3/18, just after midday on Friday get an email saying sorry have to reschedule. Great ! Only problem is I cant cancel my Hotel I booked at the same short notice as they have cancelled me and also the Birthday Meal I had booked that evening. So no experience and money down the drain. Some Birthday!!

Thanks Flightdeck Experience (and to make matters worse you cant even be bothered to answer your phone) !!! Keeps getting better.

Took my 14 year old son Jamie who is an aviation enthusiast and owns several computer flight simulation games. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Realistic departure lounge, air tunnel, fabulous flight deck and 'business class' seats. We were warmly welcomed by Steve and Vicky the owners and Kyle our first officer. We were offered drinks before and during the 'flight'.
Jamie has practised many flights on his home simulators and was absolutely thrilled to be at such realistic controls. The graphics and sound effects are superb. We were given headphones to wear which added to the sense of being on a real flight deck.
Jamie chose several different landings, including a couple of very challenging ones, such as Innsbruck in very heavy snowfall - he crashed on the first attempt but after expert instruction from Kyle, managed a fairly good landing.
He also succeeded in landing safely, following a stall on approach to Leeds.
Kyle, our instructor was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, patient and made the whole experience exciting and fun. As Jamie has had a fair amount of experience on home sims, Kyle encouraged him to take the controls completely and gave advice when necessary.
We would highly recommend this Boeing 737-800 flight simulator session. You wont be disappointed.
We will definitely be returning and it has already been requested for a Christmas present!
Thank you very much everyone - long may the success of your hard work continue Steve! :)

Had a great time. We were all made to feel very welcome. Kyle was extremely informative answering all our questions and putting our budding pilot at ease. Would recommend this for both young and old as our party ranged in age from 5 to 82. Well worth a trip.

Can't praise the guys at this place too highly! Our trip was a birthday outing for our teenage son and they made it a fantastic experience for all of us, with a whole flight from Manchester to Heathrow followed by great fun when we "passengers" in the plane got to select from a whole range of malfunctions and disasters to befall our sons in the cockpit! The guys clearly all loved their jobs and gave us longer than we'd paid for. 'Twas excellent and is definitely recommended.

I went with all my family and it was my brother that was the acting pilot for the journey. He chose to land and take off in/from several airports all over the world. For instance Palma (Majorca), New York (America), Las Vegas (America) and many others. Also if you fancy having the chance to improvise as an air host(ess) then now's your chance. You can bellow down through the microphone to your fellow friends and family aboard the plane and go through, step by step, the safety briefing. My brother was really tense guiding me and my family to safety. He faulted once or twice however he seemed to do really well. He was quite stressed at first but soon got the hang of it and really enjoyed it and is sure to do it again. The co-pilot of my brother was great and so were the other staff. He was a real pilot and had flown many planes in his previous years, so at only the age of 20, that's quite an achievement really. Also there was a plane engineer there who was also part of the staff. It's a lot of fun and for a good price. We spent the best part of 45 minutes of the plane after at least a half an hour informative briefing about the plane and different facts about other planes and journeys made in the past years. Overall its a great experience and if your ever considering becoming a pilot then go here first and get a taste for it. Also it isn't very well advertised from the street as there aren't any signs to show outside but its in a big warehouse/building and once you go through the doors, go up the stairs and you're there. Maybe so outdoor signage would help. You're greeted at first by the manager and pilot and offered a choice between tea, coffee, coke or diet coke. Great place to go and I would strongly recommend it.
