Whilst staying in the area we visited The Halo. We parked in the village (near the Coop) and walked up to the halo for the sunset. We hung about waiting for the sun to go down and we could just make out the blue lights...More

Gorgeous panoramic views of Rossendale on a sunny day, with Burnley and Manchester at either end in the distance. The Halo looks like the skeleton of a space ship! Limited free parking, as mentioned in other reviews. I imagine it would be a lovely place...More

I love visiting the Halo with its wind powered blue LED lights that light up after dark. It looks like a glowing space ship. It is part of a set of 5 sculptures in East Lancashire. Great place to take the kids.

Unusual structure set in a park area on top of the hills in Haslingden. Amazing views and scenery. Rather refreshing on a windy day but dogs love it. Couldn't get onto the car park but guess that was because it was winter. However, there are...More

If we ever bring back public hangings, this would make the perfect local venue. Other than that, I can't think of a better use for this completely useless and totally unnecessary monstrosity.

What a waste of time, nothing to do, don't get it at all! You'd be better off watching paint dry, or grass grow
