It's worth the visit for the views across rossendale and beyond there's also several other walks around the halo and if your not to tired walk to the top of crib den and look over toward burnley

If we ever bring back public hangings, this would make the perfect local venue. Other than that, I can't think of a better use for this completely useless and totally unnecessary monstrosity.

Lovely views from the halo really shows of haslingden and how the town is set out from up here try going in all sorts of weather because you get a different perspective to how the valley is set out

This is great for a walk with friends or family. If you're with small children then there's an end goal for them which is great. I wouldn't recommend it for those with mobility issues as you may struggle but there is seating at the end...More

You need good , clear [post frontal] weather to get the most out of the views from here. Surprisingly elevated -good views to the south well into Shropshire. Air traffic into Ringway appears to be middle distance. Views to the North. ..well into the Dales/South...More

I think they are programmed to come on at dusk, as it gets dark. We were then around sunset, when they started to come on
