This beautiful dam is surrounded by hills and dense forest and is an excellent spot to spent time with nature. Climate is chill and saw few wild animals. Need improvements on basic infrastructure & amenities.

Just walk lazily around the place. One might get a chance to see the wild life bumping into you. Just waltz around enjoying the cool breeze and herbal saoked air.

This place is a must visit in tirunelveli district to any eco tourism and forest lover. But the road access and other amenities is not very good. So please take water and provisions while you travel there.

Papanasam is a holy place located near the banks of Thambiraparini River with beautiful waterfalls, river & mountain range.Its also a famous district spot in the district of Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu with beautiful attractions & a peaceful environment.
