Covered with full of green blanket and also have a good natural water resources for the animals in this sanctuary. Saw few deers nearby, but no other wild animals at sight. Very peaceful forest.

Kalakkad mundanthurai tiger reserve is situated in papanasam, Tirunelveli district. You can travel through the border of the reserve but animal sightings are very rare.

It is located in near to western ghats. Full of green if we visit after rain session. Be careful when inside the Sanctuary. It is famous for Tigers.

Away from hustle n bustle of city life, drove yourself into the deep jungles of this tiger reserve.. no possibility to stay anywhere inside sanctuary except for forest officials. Jus a day trip. We saw a deer pack exceptionally close.. need permission n forest ranger...More

We may seen agastiyar falls, and 2 more dams, and Sorimuthu Ayyanar Temple. In temple front water flowing area we can swim and enjoy.

Chengaltheri is located 8 Km from kalakad in the forest area. It is very nice place to visit the nature and falls. To go there, we have to get permission from forest department at district head quarters.
