An architectural beauty
Aug 2019
The beautiful Sapni Fort in Kalpa is renowned for its exceptional architecture and wonderful surroundings. It is located in proximity to the Sapni village which is another beautiful village in the vicinity of Kalpa. The Sapni Fort faces the valley and is like a colossal structure comprising of two buildings integrated into one.The unique architecture of Sapni Fort makes it one of the most popular destinations in Kalpa.

Sapni fort has beautiful architecture and has wooden himachali art carvings but it is mostly closed throughout the year and opens once in seven years as told by the local.
If you want to take pictures and want to see the art of Himachal you can visit this place .

EPITOME OF ARCHITECTURAL GRANDEUR
Nov 2016 • Family
Sapni Fort, situated in Sapni Village near Kalpa is a paradise for art and architecture lovers. The fort is seven stories high and is an epitome of architectural grandeur. This was one of the first things we saw on our recent trip to Kinnaur. A temple dedicated to Goddess Kali is located on the fifth floor of the fort. King Padam Singh of Rampur is credited with the construction of part of the fort including the Queen's Tower. The wood work and carvings on the window and door frames is to be seen to be believed. Exquisite piece of architecture. The view of the Kailash range from the fort and the village is awesome. A must visit place for anyone visiting Kalpa or Kinnaur.
