This is the most famous temple at kurukshetra. It is one of the shaktipeeth as godess left ankle fell here. Shaktipeeth means where goddess body parts fell. The temple is beautiful and worth seeing especially if you like seeing temples. This is the only shaktipeeth in haryana state .During holidays and festivals there are huge queues inside the temple.

Regular visitor to kurukshetra attractions, about 3 km from railway station, situated on jhansa road.
It is only shaktipeeth in haryana out of 52.Also known as savitripeeth,Devikoop,Kalikapeeth.
As per legend,on insult of Lord Shiva, devi Bhahwati became sati, Shiva started pacing all over universe with body of sati. Lord Vishnu cut her body into 52 parts, where ever these parts fell on earth ,those places became Shaktipeeths.
Right ankle of Sati fell down in a well at this place
Pandavas worshipped here before marching for Mahabharta war.
Side hall has Lord Krishna,Radha-Krishan,sita-Ram temples.
There is a old vat vriksh where tonsure ceremony of Krishna & Balarama took place

Close to Sheikh Chilli's mausoleum, this is a small but very nice temple. Well maintained and the statue of Goddess Bhadrakali is really beautiful. The vicinity is neat and clean. This is one of the 52 Shakti Peeths in India, it is said that the ankle of Goddess Sati had fallen here. There are a lot of other statutes situated in the campus.

This temple is supposed to be one of the shaktipiths - Shakti mata Mandir - amongst the main 52 in this world. This temple is fully dedicated to Badrakhali, a stern form of Shakti. This has now become a place where apart from worshipping the Goddess other religious rituals are also held – like first tonsuring of the hair of a son, the Jagaratas during Navratri or religious days etc. One can park one’s vehicle pretty close to the temple and then pass through a large lotus sculpture kept in the middle of the temple compound. One can then have the darshan of the main deity. Worth a visit.

This is one of many shaktipeeths and it is stituated in outside skirts of kurukshetra on the way to jhansa. One special ritual is there take the nariyal and if you are able to break the nariyal in one go then you will have your wish. During saturdays and navratras you will find a lot of rush here.. so be ready for queues.. apart it will take you only 5-10 mins for darshan. jai mata di

This temple is among the 51 shakthi peethas. Associated with the life of Krishna, this temple is at close proximity to the Sthaneswar Mahadev temple. The approach to the temple is good and the temple is well maintained.

This Shaktipeeth is situated almost in the mid of the city of Kurukshetra. It is said that goddess Parvati's left feet was fallen here. There is peace and no extortion of money is seen from the devotees. Inside there is an ancient well (koop). The place is good for religious people.

Nice atmosphere around the temple. It is one of the 52 shaktipeedams. This is the place where Sati Devi's right ankle has fell. It will be of much crowd during the festival seasons. A pleasant place to visit.
