This museum is located just next to Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre and is dedicated to the life of Lord Krishna. The place is very clean and well maintained. There are a wide variety of paintings, carvings and sculptors. Don't miss this museum if you are in Kurukshetra.

Entry ticket is rs 30. It is next to panorama. It is better than panorama. It gives insight on lord Krishna. Worth a visit though I feel they could have made it better.

A museum that describes the life and times of the Lord Krishna as well as various interesting aspects about the war between Kauravas and Pandavas including daily details of the 18 day war. It consists of six galleries. The museum also has on display various ancient things like stone sculptures, bronze castings, leaf etchings, miniature paintings, clay pottery and terracotta artifacts of the bygone days. The Multimedia Mahabharata and Gita Gallery set up by Haryana Tourism in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism, Government of India are also part of this museum. The museum is collocated with another such place by the name Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre.

This place is nearby Science museum ticket charges are very nominal of rs 30. The museum shows the roll of Shri Krishna in the Mahabharata and I would suggest to start the trip of Kurukshetra by visiting this place first if you are with you children they will surely love it. Only one point where management can work is using more technology these days, lasers, audios, visuals, etc.

It's a multistorey building situated in a premises just adjacent to the science center and panorama. However there is entry ticket for both Panorama and the museum. As you enter the museum you see small size, duly framed pictures depicting various incidents from the most revered Epic Mahabharat. 2-3 floors are dedicated to pictorial representation. On top floors, one sees the representation of important incidents from Mahabharat by way of huge sized statues. incidents depicted here are self speaking. It's really nice to move through the top floors to see these statues. The ones that left lasting impression are that of Bhisham Pitama lying on the bed of arrows and the chakravihu, which Abhimanyu entered successfully but could not out. I took one picture and was told that photography is prohibited here. A visit to the museum is a must for all those coming to Kurukshrtra. It refreshes memories about the subject which is so close to our hearts.

We were a group of families with young children, and paid a short visit to Kurukshetra. While our visit, we stumbled upon this nice place. Firstly, to my surprise all the staff there, even though so call ed 'sarkari karamchari' were welcoming and encourage you to visit each and every exhibition. I never saw such a nice collection of different kind of artforms, exhibitions mainly related to Lord Krishna in relation to Mahabharata. The whole museum is clean, well maintained and pretty cool.
I would highly recommend, if you are in Kurukshetra, it's a place to go. One other cool thing about this place is that, it is adjoining to science museum and there is a nice little park for kids in its backyard, so overall a nice package.
