I am not particularly interested in planes but I was really surprised of my visit and I will keep a very good memory of this place: people who make the guided tour are volunteer, dedicated, passionate, it was very interesting and funny (a lot of small stories), don't miss it!

Our guide was knowledgeable but did not speak any English, which was a shame. Seeing the Mirage IV was certainly worth the trip. No eating facilities available at the Museum. Recommend. …

Little known aviation museum near Lyon with an incredible collection of mainly french aircraft's from all periods. The guides are very friendly and useful and you can even spend some time inside the cockpits of a decommissioned Mirage 2000 and Jaguar. Highly recommended !

We found this museum online this weekend as had a cousin visiting who is an aviation geek. We all enjoyed the visit very much and were especially pleased that our guide an ex-navy aviator went out of his way to explain the displays in English. The exhibits are all real aircraft which have been saved from the scrap heaps. There is a 1 euro extra charge to sit in a jet fighter and have your photo taken which very acceptable as the museum is self supporting…
