Few words can describe the pleasure we felt in visiting this animal park. No wonder it’s considered as one of the best (if not the best) park in France. We visited the park on Thursday, 11th August, 2016. It is set on a picturesque hillside, which is already unusual in its setting. Even the view from the car park is... More

Great small zoo/animal park. Primarily the animals from the Pyrenees. Makes a good day out when cloud cover is low and a day in mountains is not appealing.

While you think you can go to a zoo anywhere and so you don't want to visit another one while on a holiday, this one is a must see. It is set on a picturesque hillside (already unusual in its setting), this also incorporates a petting zoo for kids - something that our kids just loved. It is a smallish... More

We made the hour drive from Campan with our 6 year old boy who is obsessed with wildlife and we were not disappointed. The view from the car park is odd as the entrance sits at the bottom of steep, tree covered slopes which leaves you wondering how big (or not!) the park will be but once inside you get... More

We visited this animal park in July and had a fabulous time there. Setting is stunning and there are a wonderful variety of animals to see. Feeding the marmots was a treat and being able to climb into the goats enclosure was a bonus for the children. Altogether a great day out. Staff were particularly helpful. I left my mobile... More

It like any zoo out there. Animals in pens, tall fences. The terrain is quite steep, so pregnant woman and pensioners should be aware. The price is a little on the high side, but on the other hand small children will be entertained by watching the animals. It did the trick for our 5 yearold who rushed excited from one... More

This has to be one of he best zoos I have ever been to, and there are a number of reasons for this. The animals are extremely well looked after and the people who work here are really friendly. The zoo itself is in beautiful surroundings and there is a good variety of animals to look at and find out... More

My family absolutely LOVED this little park! It is clean, well-maintained, and the animals look very healthy. It is not huge, but has a very nice variety of animals which can be observed closely. To top it off, it is located in a beautiful area of France with gorgeous Pyrenees Mountains in sight on a clear day. Be prepared to... More

We travelled here with two young kids and we all brought it was brilliant. It wasn't that busy and we came around lunchtime to see the keepers feeding the animals. The kids fed the Marmottes and the otters and brown bears were great. It was a really good size for younger kids - you could see everything in a couple... More

Interesting to see the animals, but I find it personally a bit sad to see them in captivity. But that is a personal feeling. The animals are well looked after and the Park is very clean and well maintained with a great variety of animals. The ticket price is a little on the steep side, especially for the average family....
