Very dated to put it frankly! The highlight was being able to try 3 types of cheeses in the tourist centre opposite. Camembert is surprisingly small (the village!) which was interesting!

Love cheese so found this little museum great. The ticket includes a Camembert tasting at the Tourist Information Office. Very pretty, tiny village!

Decided to visit Camembert and was amazed to see how small the village was. Unfortunately we arrived at lunchtime to find the museum closing so we nipped off to the local town to grab lunch. The museum staff were very kind to recommend a place...More

A very small museum, but big enough to show us all the process of making the world famous Camembert cheese, especially concerning the older processes of manufacturing. The entrance allows you to have a small tasting of three different types of Camembert along with a...More

There are two museums. One in the village of Camembert and one in Vimoutier. The one in Camembert is quite interesting and you can sample the cheeses afterwards. The other maybe the subject of criticism in these reviews. Check it out carefully.

Average. The cheese is not actually made here. The initial films they show you are in French, and no English translation, and last for approx 20mins. The actual museum itself is 1 room, and if I am honest a little worthless. Definitely would give this...More

Really enjoyed this museum, I came out understanding the value of the camembert rather than the price, the tasting was good too

The musee was closed until 2 pm , they have really long lunch breaks . Camembert is a very tiny hamlet with nothing else there to see. The views are spectacular .

Definitely wasn't what we expected and it is quite an old and tired display, but we had a laugh there. The degustation was nice at the end.
