We visited Monarchs of The Hunter in March on our way home to Queensland. The display is of a very high standard, the variety of collectibles is very comprehensive, I could have spent much longer looking at everything, Jan was a lovely hostess and the morning tea included in the admission was delicious. Visits are by appointment for 6 or more people, as the large display is in a private home...ph: 02 4990 4224. Next time we go to the wineries we will go back for another visit.

Made another visit to the Monarchs in the Hunter and simply amazed by the increase in size of the new additions, Visit can only be by appointment and in groups of 10 or more, a call to Jan to see if a group is visiting she can add you to the group even a person not interested by the Royals couldn't be but impressed

Very comprehensive collection of memorabilia on the royals. Very good service from the host for morning tea. We enjoyed the decorations on the table, the small solar-powered statue of the queen with her wave, was a treat. Visits are by appointment, Jan prefers to fit in a small group like ours with larger groups. Children do not usually go, but our son enjoyed this experience too.

I didn't know that they opened for viewing by appointment only. So we drove all the way up there from Sydney just to drive back. So I would like to pass this information to travellers who plan to stop by this place. Please make appointment before you go. Please disregard my rating, I couldn't get pass it without putting down something.

I have never seen anything like this before. This collection is displayed in Jan' and David's home in the Hunter Valley is truly overwhelming. Even if you aren't a Monarchist, you will appreciate all the history that surrounds their home. Jan takes bookings of small or large groups. For a small cost you can view this collection and enjoy a delicious homemade morning or afternoon tea. Monarchs in the Hunter is a must see!

A great display of royal memorabilia, even have a life size doll of baby George.. Jan is very informative on all the things that are on displayed. very warm and friendly welcome ...After looking at the display you are given a morning tea and all the cakes are home made. You can even have your photo taken with the Queen...It is not far from the vineyards..Check out the picture on there facebbok page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Monarchs-in-the-Hunter/180673395424262?fref=ts

Tour group of 32, lunch was excellent followed by yummy cakes, everyone was fully sated. The Royal collection was unbelieveable. The hosts were very attentive and looked after us extremely well along with the lady who helped out. Truly an amazing exhibition.
