The area that houses this brewery has a number of old brick kilns that visitors can inspect. There is also a restaurant with a fantastic rustic style table that is cut from a single slab of timber, an amazing piece of work. Then there are the beers!! Great selection to taste on site as well as both cans and bottles to take away. Friendly staff who know their product and can provide tasting notes on each drink.

We had a couple of the Hunter Beers the previous night at dinner, and as we were staying at the brewery, we decided to go in and try a couple more.

Firstly, the beer I really wanted to try was the Ginger Beer. When I asked, I was abruptly told "we don't have that". I had read about the tasting paddles and thought it would be nice to try a few beers. None of that was offered. When we walked in, the staff member was eating at one of the tables and I got the feeling that she just wanted to get back to it as she showed no interest in serving us.

So we tried one beer then left.

This is an interesting micro brewery. Several different and interesting beers to taste. The young man leading the tour and serving the beers was very knowledgeable. There were certainly some interesting flavours.

Thank you for providing details on your recent tour and visit to our Brewery located at Potters Hotel Brewery Resort. We are very unique to the area and have been making beers on site for over 10 years. We release seasonal beers that tickle a variety of taste buds. At the moment we have a bacon beer! its amazing what our brewery crew can make. Our tours are provided 4pm Monday to Friday and 12pm & 4pm Saturday and Sunday. Its a great way to meet the brewing staff, learn how they make the beer from the grain to the glass then sit back and enjoy a tasting with a member of the team that makes the beer. We would love to see you back next time your in the area.

My husband and I walked into the brewery never having been before. The server asked what we wanted, my husband ordered a beer, without even asking me what I wanted she asked for the money. I said I wanted to know about all the beers but she was not forthcoming. We asked about the tasting plates and was told they were the same price as our 2 drinks then rang up our drinks. After me telling her it was our first time and I thought she was very rude she such shrugged her shoulders. We drank our beers and left. We went over the the other side into the restaurant and bar and ordered some duck rolls as a snack and 2 beers, we were told we had to pay separately even though we ordered at the same bar. Obviously this business gets a lot of tourists and does not have to rely on repeat business as I witnessed other customers frustrated with the lack of service. We are staying at this resort tonight and tomorrow but will definitely go somewhere else for our drinks and meals.

Whether you consider yourself a beer drinker or not, I would 100% recommend you coming and seeking a brewery talk and beer overview. This is not only semi-educational, the brewers make this hugely entertaining. I really enjoy Keith's humour and approach to his brewing. This place is 100% authentic. They do everything in-house, and they approach their beers with masterful hands and finesse. The only place in Australia where the brewers will guarenteed be able to pull you a beer, and tell you about their range. I have developed a greater appreciation for beer after my visit.

We walked in here late in the afternoon and were greeted by a really friendly brewer who explained all the beers on tap. We tried a few different beers and left. Didn't do the whole tasting thing which was good. I liked that we had the choice of what we wanted to try without pressure to try everything. I think it was $3 per tasting glass. Nice building and friendly staff. Food was really good in the restaurant too.

Stopped at the end of our tour. Drinking wine all day, I welcomed the beer. Very informative, and the beer tasted great. Great decor and a warm pub feel.

We visited Potters and had a brewery tour at 4pm which our group really enjoyed. They were very generous with beer and it was only $10 a head. Returned for dinner with 6 in the party. Everyone was very happy with the meals and service.
