We stopped in to try some wines and were greeted by a lovely man who made our experience great. It is €1.50 per wine to taste but they are generous pours and you can share amongst people. A selection of salami and cheeses were also offered. A great way to learn about the local wines.

In Söri di Söri with it's Gastronomic walk in the vineyards is a annual happening and worth to take part in. You walk from station to station, in total 6 laps. Along the route you will be served a whole meal from antipasti via first course and main course to the sweet. And of course with several options for tasting wine from different producers at each station. Everyting is perfect organiced, from parking, transportation, signing along the route to the staff at each station. And even if the staff mainly speak Italian, they are very helpful and nice. The arrangement is suitable both for a couple as well as for families and friends.

Thanks so much to Massimo for helping us get a better appreciation of the diano d'alba Dolcetto region and how varied the wines are. Incredibly inciteful knowledge that he shares enthusiastically, and we're loving the Dolcetto we walked out with. It's a major plus that he has other wines from the same producers.

After having a late lunch we thought, let's pop in a try a wine or two to take some home for us, and for friends. Massimo, was so informative and just generally nice! We tried a few wines with him explaining the differences in age, altitude etc. He was EXTREMELY knowledgable. It's difficult getting my husband to drink any white wine that isn't from the region of Alsace, France but Massimo paired a homemade biscuit with the Sauvignon Blanc and my husband was hooked! I actually bought 5 bottles...if only you knew what a feat that was! We ended up buying 30 bottles all together (€10 being the most expensive) for less than a dinner out in a nice restaurant. We also sent some back to the US for family. We took some cards back to Milan area with us and have given some to friends. We will take the 2 hour drive from home to go back and stock up again in the future. Also, there is outdoor seating if you just want to buy a glass of wine, and the view is not to be missed.
