If you want a tour where you dress up and go out and pick coffee then our tour is NOT FOR YOU.

If you want a tour where you learn about coffee then our tour is WHAT YOU NEED.

Finca Don Eduardo is a small boutique coffee farm keeping alive the Colombian tradition of producing top quality coffee. We came 2nd in a sustainable tourism contest run by the Colombian Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism in 2013.

Our tour lasts 3 hours and encompasses the whole of the coffee process - from the cultivatation of the different varietels of coffee through to the harvesting through to the roasting.

We do one english tour a day at 9.00am and a spanish tour at 15.00pm Monday to Friday. Saturday we do an english tour at 9.00. Sunday is our day off. The tour leaves from Plantation House reception and the farm is 10 minutes walk away from Salento along a national heritage route.

After the tour why not take the time to explore the farm, check out our pineapple patch, walk in our bamboo forest and enjoy the peace and tranquility of our forest.

Ok, we don't have anything to compare it to, but it ticked all the boxes. Authentic tour, so much information, loads of tips about salento, the English owner runs the tour, so you know you'll get someone who speaks great English. Fantastic tour.

More

We stayed at the Plantation House and did the coffee tour also. Tim the owner is incredibly enthusiastic and has so much information to pass on about the coffee making process and his farm in general. We saw the coffee beans crushed and roasted and tasted the final product. The tour took all morning, very enjoyable and excellent value. (discount for... More

We stayed at the Plantation House Hotel and decided to go with the coffee tour with Don Eduardo. Tim (the owner) is a super nice guy, very knowledgeable. The tour is very friendly, almost family-like. Tim knows his stuff and talked us through the entire process, from planting the beans to making the actual cup of coffee. We were allowed... More

As I was staying at their hostel (Plantation House, highly recommended as well) I decided to take the coffee tour as well. Very enjoyable and informative with a large dose of laughs and caffine.

We had high expectations for this tour based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint! 3 hours packed full of information around the growth, production and sale of coffee set on a beautiful farm with not only coffee but also many other types of fruit trees and plants. Don Eduardo (Tim) was a wealth of knowledge and his two... More
