DON'T FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS TO THIS LOCATION. IT'S CURRENTLY WRONG
Jun 2020
It's important to note that there is NO PARKING or ACCESS up the road that Google Maps currently suggests. It turns out to be a private road and would involve walking/cycling over somebody's front garden if you follow Google's current directions!! If you are driving you need to park in Kemsing village and walk upto the public footpath.

Brisk cold Sunday walk

With the picturesque village of Kemsing the steep rise to the North Downs Way gave extensive views over the Sevenoaks countryside and beyond. Well signed walk and well trodden tracks. We finished up back in the village and the Bell Inn

Some superb walks with far reaching views especially at this time of year when the Bluebells are in full bloom

Great area to go hiking
May 2017 • Couples
This is a great area to explore on the North Downs just outside Kemsing. The scenery varies from open fields to woodland (with lots of bluebells in the Spring). Use an OS map and there are plenty of footpaths to follow to build your own circular route or just trek from, say, Otford through to Seal. It's very hilly, but you'll get lovely views across the Weald off of the hills. Plan your route well and you can stop at the occasional pub too.

typical council run canteen

Overpriced food. Coffee ok tables not cleared and annoying hikers cluttering up the outside seating with various mangy looking dogs running about ok if desparate

Ramblin' and Drinkin'

We did a lovely round walk including the Kemsing Down Nature Reserve. Lovely part of South-East England and quite naturally, every couple of miles a great place to stop (ie country pub), as well as tea houses & church hall socials. Go. Walk. Now.
