Just spoke with Nina from the Visitors' Centre on the phone and she was so very helpful. She didn't rush me and explained all I wanted to know and more. Thank you so much for the great service. Many Visitors' Centre want to send you phamphlets that do not answer the questions you need answer4ed. Nina is also sending me information on line that will be very helpful. Thank you so much for offering such a great service.

The 12 Apostles Visitors Facility is easy to find. After parking in the car park a pedestrian tunnel takes you under the Great Ocean Road and directly to the side.

There are public toilets on the left as you approach the Visitors Facility. There is a big pictures on the wall with information and maps of the local area indicating the locations of various sights.

Inside there is a small cafe and a gift shop. The range of food available was much smaller than the range of souvenirs.

It's got the lot - helpful staff, lots of information, toilets and a café. Plus the inevitable display of souvenirs and gifts.
But it's the gateway to the main event - the pathway down to the 12 Apostles. That's what we all go to see !!

This review is for the visitor facility, not the 12 apostles itself (they were amazing). The visitor facility is not however. It's basically toilets with a small shop selling very very expensive food. quality was average. No air conditioning and nowhere to sit down. Suggest you do not go on a hot day and dont plan on having a meal there.
The new visitor facility can't come quick enough for this ridiculously busy attraction.

For a place The is high on people’s touring spots, I have taken family there and both times it was shut. Thank goodness the toilets were open.
We are there between 8am and 9am to get a good look before the tourist buses arrive, but are unable to get a cuppa or buy anything due to the place not being open.
Each time I have been, there have been a lot of people just as disappointed as us.
Get your act together and start opening for all tourists.

With a great car park and fantastic travellers facilities, including a small cafe, this is a safe way to walk to the various viewing platforms to visit the Twelve Apolstles formations.

the visitor centre is where you park and tourist buses stop and then you walk to the 12 apostles which is about 1km and you walk under the great ocean road. They have a shop where you can grab something to eat or drink as well as a large toilet block. It does get very busy and you can line up for the toilet or food.

Considering the number of people visiting the visitor facility it is quite small. Thus, it has a knock on effect when the large buses appear. Also they close before sunset, when most people come to see the sunset, a missed opportunity for the business. This also means that the toilets of the main block is closed, and everyone is pushed to the smaller toilet block. The facilities could be larger, to cater for the buses.

Visited on Thursday 1st March. There is a large free car park here and you enter through the Visitor Centre to get to the viewing platforms to see the Twelve Apostles. They have toilet facilities there and not much else as it is run by the national parks and is primary a nature park..
