We spent a pleasant 20-30 minutes here before visiting the fish market. The fort is free but thereâs only one sign in English and half of it has worn away. Worth a stop if youâre in town but wouldnât recommend going too far out of your way. Our favourite part was being offered ice cream cake by a group of sweet school girls for Nee Year.

A good place for visit, nice scenery. walkable distance from Thalassery town. Many good restaurants. This monument is managed by Archaeological Survey of India. It has a small garden. There are a few underground rooms which are not open to tourists. It was locally stated that the British first manufacturing unit of bronze coins was here.Parking space is limited. The premises are clean, the lawn is well maintained.

Place is the reminiscence of British rule, Tipu's invasion and history of Kerala... The place could be maintained well by protecting the artifacts.

This one the famous fort in Thalassery, Kannur. More than 3 times I visited here. This fort is located in the banks of Thalassery beach. That is the main attraction. From the fort we can see the the sea. This is a best option for peple who like silent and calmness. We can some historical aspect here.

I had been there with my friends the place I'd maintained very well.
No stray dogs or unwanted people to disturb.
The place was peaceful that we all ended up sitting there for 2 hours.
Its a place to visit..
