another accidental finding. We've rented a pedal boot there for 3-4 hours and were just chilling, swimming and relaxing. Water in august had very nice temperature, was clean and pleasing. We used a parking from the via Nationale side.

this is a fantastic little lake anout half an hour on the bus from Bergamo bus station (E11 for one adult one child return)
Its a smaller lake than Iseo which we had visited previously, but much more beautiful.
we got off the bus a Spinone Di Lago. walk down the side of any of the buildings to reach the path that goes right around the lake.
there is a small beach area here and a little further up leads you to an area with (tired look) pedalo hire.
My 8 yr old played here all day in and out of the water. It was uncrowded on the early July weekday we visited.
Buses return hourly to Bergamo from accross the street where you are dropped off.
Iseo is a lovely lake to visit but we had far more enjoyment at Endine, if you only have time for one, pick this one!
Take a picnic, or buy supplies at the bus station as there are limited places to eat lakeside.

This small lake is not crowded by many tourists. Therefore, it is a little gem and quiet with perfect walkways around the lake. Even seniors will enjoy the easy walk around the lake.
For urgent cases, they have placed small restroom boxes at several picnic places for the convenience of visitors.
There are some nice restaurants around and you may step in and have a nice lunch at very resonable price. The high price tourist traps are all round lake Garda or Lago di Iseo. On lake Endine, everything is still in hand of Italian local people and prices are great for people which like to eat with the locals and enjoy a fresh prepared good Italian meal.

Lake endine has banned powered craft so is quiet and peaceful. Took my paddle board to both sides and benefitted from the lake breeze. It's a bit more green than iseo and the mountains around are not quite as imposing.gets busy at weekends with passing traffic.

We were delighted to come across this spot. It's a small lake and not too crowded. Cleft into a spectacular valley. In August the water was just lovely. We stopped in Spinone al lago and wandered along the pretty Lake walk until we came to a little beach. Dropped down our bags and swam for the afternoon. My kids have been asking to go back ever since.

Nice area, not as crowded as the more famous lakes in the neighborhood like Como , Garda, Iseo, Maggiore.
Close to Milan, about 90 km, please tell valley, no motor boats. The facilities are good, very green surroundings.
Quite a few simple restaurants where you can eat local fish.
If you have seen the rest and you feel like a quite unpretentious change this is it.

Is the lake suitable for small children? Slowly descending into the water?

Ciao a tutti.
