The islands are beautiful, the birds plentiful, and the snorkeling wonderful. Also, if you're out in the bay at the right time of year (roughly December through March), there's a good chance you'll see plenty of humpback whales breaching and competing to mate.

We went to the Marieta Ilands with Viento Negro ( a tour company ) the ilands access was very restricted but once we got there it was worth it.

This is a real natural wonder of Puerto Vallarta it’s truly a gem. Not all the tours though take you inside the hidden beach it’s still worth it

The natural beauty of this set of islands is fantastic we went by private tour from the beach at the st Regis by Vallarta adventures and our crew was excellent, the boat safe and speedy.

You can do either but during high tide it's harder to get into the hidden beach. (less space to swim through)

Yes. Go to Punta Mita and arrange it there. It should be around 100 bucks for someone who wants to go to the hidden beach. You need to specify because there’s only a very small amount of people allowed each day. Everybody... More
