Cheesemaking by a family with passion and charm

I recently did a Gastronomy Tour of Italy and this was my favourite stop. The Family are passionate about what they do and took us through the whole process. First we met the Cows who eat local grass and grain (of course) - Then we watched the cheese being stretched and learnt how it is aged - This included a chance to do hands on cheese stretching which was a laugh. But the best bit was when we compared young cheese and then older and older and how the taste develops. I wasnt a fan of strong cheese before this but it was a revelation and tbh i actually got a bit emotional at how good it tasted and how you could understand the flavours. Loved it and i bough a half cheese for just 15 Euros which will last me ages

Great time at Cascata Rosabella. Great views and fun way to cool off in the hot heat. Pic-nic area for a nice afternoon with food and friends.

Deve venire una persona di 70anni , preso tavolo vicino fiume e’ comodo arrivarci a piedi..? Mica lontano dal parcheggio e/o di difficile arrivo..? Grazie a chi sa’ ;-)

Se per bagno intende mettere i piedi in acqua, allora si è possibile. L'acqua ha una temperatura bassa, quindi attenzione ai bambini, specie dopo pranzo, anche se bagnano solo i piedi! Per una nuotata...le consiglio mare o piscina.

Si, i proprietari stessi ne hanno. Ovviamente è da tenere presente che è un luogo molto frequentato, anche da tanti bambini, quindi il cane, a prescindere dalla taglia, non è cortese tenerlo sciolto, almeno nelle zone tavoli, per non spaventare chi ha paura del cane e/o dare fastidio mentre si mangia.

SI nel paese di MONTELLA, poche centinaia di metri dalla FATTORIA puoi acquistare carne e altro. Anche all'interno della fattoria puoi acquistare bevande, salumi, formaggi e pane (meglio chiamare per prenotare).
