Photos of this church are often used on the front cover of literature advertising the Aosta Valley which tells you something about its beauty. It is fantastically picturesque in the snow.

A small interesting church, well worth a visit even if you are not Catholic. Wood is the king here and the general internal conditions are very good.

Typical mountain church with a roof covered in "lose" which, however, preserves a real treasure: a stupendous wooden altar.
The imposing Baroque altar almost entirely covers the apse and is the result of centuries of work between 1500 and 1800.
Also interesting are the pulpit, the baptistery, the choir loft and the side altars.

the Church of San Martino, externally very beautiful, should be visited especially for its high altar fruit of several centuries of work, is divided into three bands. The central area dates from the early 18th century (but the five statues in the niches are certainly older and can be assigned to the 16th century). The lower and upper areas were built in 1713 by the carvers Gilardi and Minaldi from Valsesia. Towards the middle of the nineteenth century, the parish priest Dandrès had the tabernacle redone.
