We were there this past Sunday with about 25 friends and had a great cook out. The swimming is great there, the waves aren't bad and there is very little under toe. This beach is one of the best in the area but a little had to find. But people on Sundays come from the out ling areas in bus... More

I've been to Playa Caleton many times over the years, it's a great place to chill out and relax. Sit on the beach and have a cold beer, even sample some of the fresh caught and cooked fish or lobster. What more could you want?

The food was some of the best that the area has to offer. The beach was very clean and the people are very friendly.

Went on boat excursion through grand Bahia Principe. This was on of our stops. Beautiful beach. Enjoyed pina colodas in a pineapple and fresh yummy lobster.

A 60minute stop on our day trip (booked with Air Canada Vacations); the water was very clear and deep to swim, however, there was no snorkeling as promised. Its more of a local beach and is crowded, with a few vendors (but they didn't hassle much). Overall a beautiful little spot.

My first time in this beautiful beach, I was surprised about the beauty of this beach, very private, very quiet and relaxing, good for children's and adults. 5 minutes way from the town of Rio San Juan.

Great beach, nice to swim to the rocks. More crowded that the small beaches in Río San Juan though. Very nice place and not overwhelmed by foreign tourists (yet?)
